Faculty of Agricultural Product Innovation and Technology was founded in 2009 to implement the national vision of environmentally friendly and healthy society by supporting sustainable development of local communities. The Faculty aims to prepare competent graduates who can efficiently combine familiarity of Thailand's local communities with the knowledge of appropriate technology and create innovative agricultural products. These graduates will possess strong educational aspirations and have morals and ethics essential for the adjustment to the changes made by the globalization era.
The Faculty provides academic programs activities and social services on the research basis. Not only are its activities meant to improve the value of agricultural products and conserve natural resources and the environment in general, they are also intended to assure sustainable development of local communities, community enterprises, small scale industry and other types of industry.
The Faculty currently offers a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Nutrition and will eventually establish a Doctoral Program in this field as well as undergraduate programs in Agricultural Material Technology, Biotechnology, and Product Development.
